Partial Discharge measurement

PD measurement is a supplement to high-voltage testing and is part of routine and type testing of numerous electrical devices. It is one of the most important non-destructive methods for detecting insulation faults in electrical equipment. PD measurement is therefore used for quality testing in the factory as well as during on-site testing of cables, GIS, power transformers and instrument transformers or rotating machines and their components. Depending on the DUT, HIGHVOLT provides application-specific PD devices/systems.

Your Advantages at a Glance

  1. Non-destructive testing for insulation faults that could lead to failures of the equipment in the future

  2. Integration of measurement results in HICOS control (e.g. for automatically generated reports)

  3. Selection of devices that can be provided for the particular test specimen, according to the customer's requirements
