Partial Discharge measurement
PD measurement is a supplement to high-voltage testing and is part of routine and type testing of numerous electrical devices. It is one of the most important non-destructive methods for detecting insulation faults in electrical equipment. PD measurement is therefore used for quality testing in the factory as well as during on-site testing of cables, GIS, power transformers and instrument transformers or rotating machines and their components. Depending on the DUT, HIGHVOLT provides application-specific PD devices/systems.
Your Advantages at a Glance
-
Non-destructive testing for insulation faults that could lead to failures of the equipment in the future
-
Integration of measurement results in HICOS control (e.g. for automatically generated reports)
-
Selection of devices that can be provided for the particular test specimen, according to the customer's requirements
